Grow Bean Sprouts At Home :

Step 1.    Rinse the beans (Green Mung Daal) in the water about two times. (look      through if there is any broken beans and pick it out. Dark or splited or chopped beans won't sprout and end up getting rotted and ruin other good beans while growing)

Step 2.     Soak the beans in the water for 24 hours.

( 1/4cups of beans and 1cup of water will be enough)

Step 3.     Remove the beans from the water and put beans in the container that has little holes for the draining of the water.

Step 4.     Cover over the container with towel.

Step 5.     Put some lid over the towel. (do not perfectly cover it so air can get through)

Step 6.     Water them twice or once a day.

Step 7.     After 6 or 7 days you can eat it. you can enjoy in 4~5days.

This is my first time growing bean sprouts. It came out great success I watched videos from YouTube and I like to show how I did this is a success !!

Haveli - Authentic flavors of Punjab!

There is a punjabi quote which goes like : "Jehri Mauj Chhaju De Chobare, Na Oh Balakh Na Bukhare" It literally means - "East or West, Home is the best!". And that is something which I've experienced when visited Haveli Amritsar. Haveli invited me to attend the bloggers meet. On arrival, we were greeted with chilled homemade Lassi in Earthenware Cup which broke my tiredness of driving 21 km from Amritsar city to the location. That was the taste which I expect whenever I had a desire for Lassi. I introduced myself to the other members who were there to attend this bloggers meet. We have shared our past experiences with food and traveling. I must say that the people I met there were so humble and nice. All this was happening under this beautiful roof which is designed to give you a feel of typical Punjabi Dhaba. Take a look at these pictures below : we continued our conversations till other members were arrived at the location.
